Fellow Dancer, IN THIS ISSUE: Randy's Report, Current Classes, Class Balances, Events, Private Lessons, DJ Services and Partners RANDY'S REPORT: Everything was smooth sailing on the 2005 Swingin' @ Sea dance cruise. The Mediterranean weather offered a heavy dose of sun each day and calm waters at night. Next time you see me, be sure to ask and I'll tell you all about it! There's simply not enough space to share it all here. Congratulations on another well-run dancing vacation Beata! I highly recommend any Swingin' @ Sea package that she puts together! It looks like next year we will be sailing out of Vancouver, B.C. and explore Alaska in August. Stay tuned for more details. A brand new venue will open its doors to the Swing Community this week! The Dorothy Jayne Studio (http://www.olysdance.com) in Everett is now hosting Nightclub 2-Step and West Coast Swing classes on Wednesday nights. Please join me in welcoming this new state of the art studio to our family. Classes begin at 6:30pm, 7:30pm and 8:30pm with yours truly, Randy Carter, guiding the way. Tuesdays in Kent are shy 1 leader for Waltz 1, 3 leaders East Coast Swing 1 and 1 leader for East Coast Swing 1. Wednesdays in Everett would be even with 1 leader in all classes. Thursdays in Tacoma are in need of 1 follower in East Coast Swing 2. EVENTS: Monster Mash is quickly approaching! Do you have your costume yet? How about a ticket? This year we will all be dancing in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho (Previously in Spokane, WA). Mark your calendar for another fantastic event, October 27th-30th. The Seattle Swing Dance Club is offering yet another event for their members. Sunday, November 20th, SSDC will host a second day of member appreciation workshops. That's right, free to members! Be sure to include this cruise carefully scheduled between the major holidays. December 4th-11th (Sunday-Sunday) are the dates of travel. This ferociously fun filled cruise will depart Galveston with stops in Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel before returning to Galveston. Instructors Luke Adams, Randy Carter, John Kirkconnell, Jennifer Robinson and Jessica Sandholm will provide excellent workshops while at sea.
